Instagram is by far one of my favorite iphone & ipad apps. It helps people like myself who don't know anything about editing and playing with photos feel all creative and editor like. You upload a normal photo and with a few clicks after some simple steps you are left with something looking much better and much cooler than the original. Revenge never looked so good.

In order for Amanda Clark to convince everyone that she is Emily Thorne she must play the part of rich socialite and this part goes hand in hand with designer clothing. I knew the fashion would be good in a show set in the Hamptons but why do I have to love and want everything that Emily Thorne wears! Once I see a dress, or a pair of shoes, or a purse on celebrity or a TV show I seriously become obsessed with finding out who makes it and where I can find it. Thanks to @possessionista my questions are most of the time answered. Therefore when I fell in love with Emily Thorne's white and yellow lace dress during last night's episode of revenge that she wore while she’s attending Victoria's mother daughter tea party, I ran to possessionista.com this morning to see if she had posted it, sadly she had not. I figured I had to find it myself, so the hunt began. After several google and bing website and image searches I think I found the designer. Thanks to the onsugar blog celebrityfashion.onsugar.com I figured out that Emily's delightful dress is Valentino Resort 2011 collection. Though I knew it would be designer I was hoping for at least maybe Alice and Olivia or a more contemporary brand so that maybe I could afford it but Valentino is way out of my league. Maybe ill inherit half of a media corporation and be worth millions, until then.





Fall TV II

A couple of weeks ago I shared my excitement for the Fall TV line up (http://verythoughtofyou.blogspot.com/2011/09/fall-tv.html). Since then I have had time to watch the shows, and I want to share my favorites with you today. This year I feel like TV is seriously catching up to movies. There is so much good TV it almost seems pointless to go to the movies. Television is almost better than any movie out there, and no movies are grabbing my attention, to the point where I can’t even remember the last time I went to the movies. I love this because TV is very convenient, especially because of tivo, I can watch my shows whenever I would like, I don’t have to sit through commercials, and I am in the comfort of my home. My favorite shows this season all seem to revolve around one very big constant that being that the main leads are females. A female executing revenge for the harm that was done to her father, a female exiled from NYC now in Bluebell, Alabama, two broke females becoming best friends while saving money to open a cupcake shop, and a group of females flying the world during a time when everything was changing. I did tivo the majority of all the new shows that were debuting this season, but these four are the ones that have majorly stood out to me and that I have fallen in love with. I can only hope that everyone else feels the same as I do, because I really don’t want any of these shows to get cancelled. They are so different from the rest and so good. This is why Revenge, Hart of Dixie, 2 Broke Girls, and Pan Am are my must see new shows of the season! If you are not already watching or hooked as I am its not too late to start. It’s so easy to catch up right now with the convenience of tivo, apps on ipad/computers, itunes, and many more options.

Days off are definitely my favorite type of days. I spent the holiday weekend with some friends in Bimini having a wonderful weekend. We got back yesterday which has turned out to be perfect because I've had all of today to catch up on sleep and recover for the week ahead. I wanted to share some of the beauty of Bimini and bring you some sunny rays today, whether you are working or also have it off. Happy Columbus Day Everyone.

I've seen alot of patterned bottoms with striped tops and wanted to attempt to try this trend out, so here is my interpretation. In order for this work I think the stripes on top have to match some of the colors from the patterned bottom. Thus, my skirt had ivory and beige so I decided this stripped top would work. I paired the tribal-esque skirt with t-strap tribal-esque wedges to complete the look.

Yellow Days

I might be a couple months late to this party so please forgive me in advance for jumping on the bandwagon but I have become OBSESSED with The Fluro Satchel from The Cambridge Satchel Company (http://www.cambridgesatchel.co.uk/shop/collections/the-fluro). I first noticed these little beauties during fashion week. Especially Fashion Night Out, while going through all the photos from other blogs and websites these Satchels kept popping up everywhere. I have been doing a little research since then and it seems like every single blogger / fashion conscious person out there is rocking their satchel, besides the fact that i already love them, this only means i must get mine soon. First the colors are to die for! I’m leaning especially towards the Fluro Yellow but it's hard to stick to one color when they are all so perfect. Second, the satchels come with an adjustment shoulder strap and front pocket, added bonus I can use it as a clutch or a shoulder bag. Lastly, what is most tempting to me, you can customize your satchel, that’s right boy and girls for 5 euro a letter you can personalize you satchel... too adorable. I am having a super difficult time trying to decide between the 11" and the 13", one minute I think the 11" will be just fine but then I flip flop. The company is based out of the country (in the UK) and shipping is 16 euro for one bag 20 euro for two bags, so I need to be sure of my decision! Also if anyone wants to jump on the bandwagon with me and split the 20 Euro shipping, I'm in!
